Hollinswood Pavilion Criminal Damage

Dear Residents,

We have been informed by Hollinswood Parish Council that, unfortunately, significant damage was caused to the pavilion sports pitch this morning.

Reports indicate that an adult male, accompanied by a child, was seen riding a quad bike on the field. They were last observed leaving the area via the path alongside Hollinswood Primary School at approximately 10:30am.

We have obtained CCTV footage and are seeking assistance in identifying this individual.

The damage caused to the field is extensive. Repairs are expected to cost several thousand pounds and will take a number of months to complete. This is deeply disappointing for our local young people, who will now be unable to use the pitch for games or practice sessions.

These fields serve many purposes within our community. When quad bikes are used to churn up the grass, the space becomes unusable for everyone, preventing community and family events from taking place. This is extremely regrettable and reflects a selfish disregard for shared public spaces.
